CH-59 YESTERDAY

"YESTERDAY" the world moaned, groaned, cried, and sighed about what has been happening to our environment.  The world also wondered why we humans continue to blunder!  So do the readers of this serious piece about our environmental woes.  They face poluted soil, trash in the sea, chemicals in our water supplies, mass cutting of the rainforests, smog in the air, and over-consumption everywhere. 

But "TODAY" has arrived and all is not lost.  Near the end of this read-aloud text, the readers are asked to determine and suggest what they might realistically do to inspire themselves and their listeners to become more environmentally friendly!  Once their list is read aloud, the piece ends with hope.

This text may be memorized and performed as Choral Speaking, or read aloud as a Choral Reading.  Either way, the message is important to all or us!
