READER 1: It was Halloween night
And from under my bed

READER 2: Flew a funny little woman
Who floated overhead.

READER 3
GHOST VOICE: “Boo!” She yelled.

READER 1: “Who are you?” I said.

READER 3
GHOST VOICE: “Me? I’m a ghost!
Aren’t you filled with dread?”

READER 1: “I’m trying,” I admitted,
But you don’t look right.”
Aren’t ghosts transparent,

ALL: Or at least all white?”

READER 4: The ghost glanced down
At her trendy orange vest,

READER 3
GHOST VOICE: Said, “White’s out of style.
Say, aren’t you impressed?

If not, you should be.
Now, show some compassion.
How often do you meet a
True ghost of fashion?”
